I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Naomi throughout high school. My fondest memories of Naomi were from the time we worked on a dance routine together for PE class – that was when I got to know her a bit better. She was such a sweet and loving person. I am still in shock as I just heard about Naomi’s passing today after a chance reunion with a fellow classmate. I really can’t believe that she is gone. I was in her grade 8 LFA class. She is one of my most fondest memories of LFA. I was only at LFA for 1 year but after I left, she was the one person that I kept in touch with. We would marvel at how easy it was for us to catch up and talk even if we’d only see eachother once a year. I, regrettably, lost touch with her a few years back and often thought about her and wanted to get in touch. I am truly saddened to hear that she is no longer with us. She had a welcoming smile, an infectious laugh, and a heart of gold. My thoughts go out to her family.
